Harbour adheres to the Code of Conduct for Litigation Funders.
The Code of Conduct has been approved by Lord Justice Jackson and has been commended by the Chair of the Civil Justice Council, Lord Neuberger of Abbotsbury, the Master of the Rolls (the most senior judge in England and Wales after the Lord Chief Justice).
Association of Litigation Funders
Harbour is a founding member of the Association of Litigation Funders (ALF), the regulatory body responsible for 3rd party litigation funding in the United Kingdom. Harbour and the other members of ALF have adopted the Code of Conduct and undertake to comply at all times with the Code of Conduct.
When considering whether to use litigation funding, claimants and their solicitors are advised to confirm that their litigation funder is a member of ALF and has agreed to comply with the provisions of the Code of Conduct.
