Director of Litigation Funding
Lucy has over fourteen years’ experience of high value, complex commercial litigation, arbitration and contentious regulatory investigations in a number of jurisdictions.
Lucy joined Harbour from Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan in London. Previously she was an associate in the financial institutions dispute resolution group at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. She began her career with Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison in New York.
Her practice had a strong focus on financial services, contentious restructuring and insolvency. She also worked in a range of industries including oil and gas, real estate and hospitality. Having qualified and worked in North America, she is well placed to assess claims in these jurisdictions. Speaking several languages and possessing a degree in Civil Law, Lucy also reviews claims related to disputes in Continental Europe.
She is dual qualified as a US and UK lawyer and is a member of the New York bar. She is admitted to the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the Second Circuit Court of Appeal. Lucy has an LLB and a BCL from McGill University in Montreal.
