Harbour View Autumn 2016, a Middle East special

3 October 2016

With 28 pages, our biggest Harbour View yet, this edition is mostly dedicated to the recent developments of litigation, arbitration and third party funding in the Middle East.

‎Mark King, who worked in the region for a number of years, guest edited Harbour View Q3 2016. He collected views from leading lawyers at Clyde & Co and DLA Piper and spoke to the General Counsel of Dubai Transport Company and the Registrar of the DIFC Courts. Their first-hand insights are testament to how much progress has been made to improve the legal landscape in the Middle East.

To round up this bumper edition, Professor Doug Jones AO advocates the use of cost awards to control the cost of international commercial arbitration and we update you on our latest news.

If you would like to discuss any of its content, please contact Mark who is happy to answer any queries  you may have.
